Crystal River

Welcome to Crystal River ,also known as Florida's Nature Coast. Crystal River is home to many types of wildlife, Wild pigs, Deer, and hundreds of different types of birds. Tourists from all over the world, come to crystal River to swim in the beautiful spring fed waters and encounter the Manatees.

Crystal River is home to some of the best fishing in the state, On a normal day you can catch Redfish, Trout, Spanish Mackerel, Kings, Sharks just to name a few. During the first week in May, Tarpon start the big migration north. If you want to catch a big Tarpon on fly this would be the best time of year.

Starting July 1st scallop season opens from Tarpon Springs all the way up to the big bend. Its is one of the most busiest times of the year. Families come out and snorkel the shallow Grass flats and pick up the Bay scallops. During the winter months Most of the fish swim up the rivers to stay in the warmer waters.

The river is 72 degrees all year long, While the Gulf can get down in the 50's at night. Come enjoy what Florida's Gulf Coast has to offer.
