Lake Kissimmee ( Kissimmee Chain of Lakes)

Lake Kissimmee is the largest lake in the south end
of the Kissimmee Chain of Lakes and is very popular
for Trophy Largemouth Bass , Bluegill, Black
Crappie and Shell Cracker. The main body of the
Kissimmee Chain of Lakes Located south of Kissimmee
about 20 miles by boat through locks and channels.
Boat ramps are located at several locations along
the lake shore.
Expansive stands of native aquatic grass at
Philadelphia Point, North Cove, Tiger Cove and
Brahma Island provide anglers with cover to flip
plastics baits, cast a crankbait or fish with large
golden shiners for Hugh spawning Bass during the
winter and Spring.
Fly fishermen have good success fishing along the
miles of shoreline on Lake Kissimmee. Lake Kissimmee
is rich in wildlife, including Bald Eagles, White
tail deer, Bobcats and Turkeys. This lake is
surrounded by protected wetlands, a State wildlife
area and is undeveloped and secluded and a part of
old Florida you will truly enjoy.
